Stormtech Architectural Drains (Stormtech) is an award-winning, family-owned, specalised drainage business that has stayed true to its core values of Australian-led design, innovation and quality for the past 30 years.

Based out of South Nowra in NSW, Stormtech provide architectural drainage solutions to architects and designers to use in bathrooms, showers, thresholds, paved areas, driveways and pools/pool surrounds.

Stormtech architectural drainage solutions

All Stormtech linear drainage systems are manufactured in Australia.

Made from high quality 316 stainless steel, the systems are either made-to-length, or modular, meaning they can be cut on-site to different lengths as required, and come in three different standard widths; 38 mm, 65 mm and 100mm.

For site specific requirements, custom fabrication is also available. From horizontal and vertical lines, to tessellating hexagonal patterns and tile inlays that allow the drains to be almost entirely camouflaged within a design, one of Stormtech’s key differentiators is the visual appeal of their drains.

Their drains also connect directly with all standard plumbing fittings and have Watermark and Global Green Tag International certifications.

Stormtech and NBS Source

When asked what their motivation was for listing their products on NBS Source, Stormtech Managing Director, Troy Creighton, says NBS Source is “a unique tool targeted to our specifier audience”.

With NBS Source, architects, specifiers and designers will be able to easily access Stormtech technical product information at a critical time in the specification process.

"We have heavy listings on most design focused networks in Australia, but NBS was the first platform that took rather complex resources and presented them in a clear and precise manner."

Troy Creighton, Managing Director – Stormtech

How does NBS Source work?

NBS Source allows specifiers to find, compare and select products and manufacturers using intuitive search, and saves specifiers time spent chasing product information by adding the data directly into their project specification and 3D models via integration with NBS Chorus.

Product information is available via NBS Source in a standardised format (Uniclass 2015).

It combines everything specifiers need to make design decisions in one place – product properties, certifications, associated brochures and data sheets, specification clauses and digital objects.
