How does specification and model integration work?
The NBS Chorus plug in (Chorus connect) allows you to associate specification clauses and sections to objects and elements within your ArchiCAD model.
This process is made quick and simple through the ability to use the ArchiCAD label tool to associate more than one element at a time. For example, you can associate all the doors in your model to the same clause.
It is intuitive and effective - all you need to do is simply select an ArchiCAD object or element in their model, click the 3 association dots next to the respective clause or section you want to associate, and the process is complete.
Chorus connect also allows you to check which elements of the model have been associated, which elements are yet to be associated, and if there are any discrepancies between the information in the specification and associated modelled elements or objects in the ArchiCAD model. The model checker also has a find and select feature which allows the user to find sections or clauses connected to an object or element in the model. This is especially useful when working with larger models.
