As part of the acquisition of specification consultancy, SCL Schumann (SCL), announced in November last year, NBS has also acquired its specification software tool, EzySpec.
The extensive EzySpec manufacturer product information database will be consolidated into NBS Source – NBS’s online platform for construction product information. This merge will provide specifiers, architects and designers with access to Australia’s most comprehensive building product technical information database.
Both NBS and EzySpec are committed to driving quality in the construction industry by supporting accuracy in the design and specification process. The combined technology and information available as a result of this acquisition will help architects, designers and specifiers make more informed choices when specifying a building project. Building product suppliers will also benefit from gaining insight into how their products are being used on over $70 billion worth of construction projects.
